Martin Johnson is a native of Minden, Louisiana and is a leader in the Central Louisiana area. He is the City President of Regions Bank and is responsible for managing and overseeing five branches with deposits totaling approximately $160,000,000 within the Greater Alexandria market, which includes Pineville, Louisiana.

 

In 1989, Johnson began his career at Hibernia as a bank teller and with hard work and dedication climbed the corporate ladder. Prior to his current position, he was a Vice President and Senior Lender with Capital One Bank (formerly Hibernia National Bank), managing a $55,000,000 loan portfolio which consisted of 175 business customers.

 

In September 2009, Cenla Focus named Johnson one of 15 on its list of Central Louisiana's Most Influential. In December 2009, he was inducted in The Central Louisiana Business Incubator Hall of Fame. Johnson has been honored with numerous awards and positions, which include, but are not limited to:

• 1996 Small Business Administration "On Top" Award

In1988, Johnson graduated from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He now resides in Alexandria with his wife, Karen, and their daughters, Lauren and Paige.
